Finn on the Run

Well well, another 3 month-long break. It’s mainly because I still haven’t made up my mind about what to write here. Not sure what my audience (is there anybody left?) wants to read. However, I might just continue my habit of posting whenever I feel like it. Pictures should become, or should I say remain, a central element of this blog. Nothing beats some eyecandy.

Yesterday, Carmen, I and another couple visited Munich for one day. We first watched my favorite soccer team Bayern München at their training pitch.

You can watch more pics of the training at my gallery.
After that and some shopping a the fan shop we drove into the city and a nice dinner at a brewery in downtown munich. The girls bought some clothes, ok, the boys too. All in all a beautiful day with delicious food, great company and some real bargains.

Oh I’m so happy! Tomorrow will be the last day of work this semester break. I’ll have two weeks of leisure time and after that it’s another three weeks work placement at a local school before university begins again.
As you might have noticed another feature of this page is about to get launched. A gallery for photos will be available for all to watch and for some to participate at. Rob is currently running tests in the new environment and we’ll get it started as soon as I get his o.k..

Now that I gradually come to enjoy work, I noticed that it’s only 2 1/2 more weeks until my six week term at RIBE is over. Of course I’m doing it for the money primarily but I recently realized that I had to make the best of it. So I take my iPod to work every day and listen to the latest podcasts and audiobooks, I never had the time to listen to before.

I have to work at the local spring and screw factory these days and therefore have to get up at 6 every morning. That’s pretty tough for student I have to admit. However, it seems like I’ll have more time and enthusiasm again to get this site of mine clicking on all cylinders again. Rob from Bitblaster.com is so kind to help me with the things I’ve planned.
Mmh, I’m just realizing that I can’t edit my text here using Safari 3.0. :’(

This is just a test to post an entry via my new Blackberry. If this works, I may be able to write posts while am on the go! This would be great as I often have some thoughts, which might be worth writing, in mind while I’m outside. I hope this works!

How could it be any any other way? Temperatures are reaching record hights outside while I have to sit at my desk and prepare for this semester’s final exam. I’m glad it’ll be over tomorrow! But there are worse tasks ahead, 6 weeks of work at a factory here in Schwabach. However, wages are high and I desperately need the money!
